Megalodon II Update

Posted in Megalodon on August 12th, 2010 by Steve Laughlin

Ralf and I are now back from our traveling. I was in Colorado for some down time, and Ralf was at the factory checking on the completed Megalodons. He was also working on the bronze Moray, the steel Moray, and the Remora progress.

While at the factory Ralf discovered that something was wrong with the case backs on the Megalodon. They are making new case backs and the completion date is now August 27th. With this new date, I should expect delivery around September 1st.

We are sorry for the delay, but we would not ship something that is not at our level of standards. Above is a sneak peak of the blue and red carbon fiber dials. Ralf was very pleased with how the colors turned out. I do not have pictures available of the other dials, but I have seen them and they all look fantastic.

Megalodon II completion news

Posted in Megalodon on August 1st, 2010 by Steve Laughlin

Good news! We are expecting the completion of the Megalodon II in the next 2 weeks. Ralf will be traveling to the factory for final inspections before the watches will be shipped to Steve in the US. We are expecting the watches to reach Steve the week of August 11th. Steve will be out of the office and away from his email from August 5th until Wednesday, August 11th, 2010.

Once the Megalodons arrive in the US, Steve will also do inspections and testing. He will contact each customer on the reservation list for final payment. After the payment, he will pack and ship each order individually. This process can be time consuming, so we appreciate your patience.

We are all excited about the arrival of the Megalodon II.
